Feuillet & Viana, Lda. uses cookies and trackers that are strictly necessary for PropCheckr to work. Audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics) may be set on the public website only with your consent.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It can remember a preference or keep you signed in.
2. PropCheckr cookies (public website)
These cookies support the marketing site, the trial signup flow, and your display language.
First-party cookies:
- NEXT_LOCALE — stores your chosen language (duration: 12 months);
- pcr_trial_signup — keeps trial form data between /trial and signup (duration: 14 days, httpOnly technical cookie);
- pcr_cookie_consent (browser local storage) — stores your choice on statistics cookies (duration: 13 months, then the banner is shown again).
3. Third-party cookies (authentication and payments)
When you sign in or sign up, our authentication provider Clerk may set cookies to secure your session.
When you pay or change a subscription, Stripe may set technical cookies on hosted or embedded checkout pages.
4. Signed-in professional area
In /app (B2B customers), session cookies are required for the contracted service (authentication, security, preferences). No cookie banner is shown there: use is based on contract performance.
If your organisation connects Google Drive, OAuth cookies or tokens may be managed by Google during authorisation — only when initiated by your organisation admin.
5. Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
On the public website (marketing pages, pricing, trial), we may use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to measure traffic: page views, approximate source, device type. These trackers are only set after your choice in the cookie banner (“Accept analytics”).
We do not use advertising targeting cookies. The professional /app area is not covered by Google Analytics.
Your choice (accept or refuse statistics) is stored locally in your browser for 13 months. After that period, the cookie banner is shown again to collect up-to-date consent.
6. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or the trial flow. You can refuse statistics cookies via the banner on the public site. Clearing site data or local storage also removes your saved choice (pcr_cookie_consent).
